Our Team
Dr. Florian Miranzadeh, Medical Director
Dr. Miranzadeh, an academic physician, is board-certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine. He is also the medical director for other medical institutions, including an occupational health center for work-related injuries and Phoenix Medical Associates, a med spa for cosmetic procedures and laser treatments.
Dr. Miranzadeh has taught medicine, emergency room attending and senior clinical attending. He has also worked as a community health initiative physician, ‘Ask a Pediatrician’ health forum organizer, nutritional consultant for adolescents and community geriatric lecturer, while continuing to provide health services to underprivileged and underserved communities.
Dr. Miranzadeh speaks three languages: English, French and Spanish. He is an adjunct assistant professor of clinical family medicine at Midwestern University Medical School, as well as a teaching physician preceptor for the University of Illinois/Illinois Masonic Medical Center family medicine residency program.
Niki Davis, Medical Esthetician
Niki is a Chicago native and completed her esthetician certification and laser training in 2007 in Tempe, Ariz., at the National Aesthetics Institute. She is passionate about mher career and committed to helping clients achieve their skin care goals. Along with her certifications, Niki has years of experience with numerous services, such as laser hair removal, Ipl, medical-grade chemical peels, laser resurfacing, dermaplaning and acne light therapy.
Claire O'Connor, Medical Esthetician
Claire is a certified medical esthetician and earned her license at Pivot Point Academy in Evanston, Ill. Claire has more than five years of experience in the field, and is certified to perform some of the latest services in cutting-edge skin care, including Clear & Brilliant™, LightSheer® Duet™ laser hair removal and Isolaz Acne Light Therapy. Claire works hard to ensure her clients not only receive excellent skin care treatment in the clinic, but are also well-informed on healthy skin care practices at home. Claire ensures that clients are using the right products for their skin type, and she advocates for increased sunscreen use to limit sun damage. Claire frequently receives outstanding reviews for her service and professionalism, and has been recognized on well-known venues, including Yelp and PrettyCity.com.
Alison Istambouli, Medical Esthetician and Laser Specialist
Alison is a licensed medical esthetician and laser specialist with more than 18 years of experience. Alison is a Chicago native and attended Pivot Point Academy in Evanston, Ill., graduating at the top of her class. For the past eight years, Alison has worked at SpaDerma, specializing in laser skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal and advanced skincare. Alison has advanced training in many laser certifications, as well as the latest technology and treatments available. Alison consistently receives outstanding reviews on Yelp and other sites for her outstanding commitment to her clients. Alison enjoys making a connection with her clients by providing them with a quality skin care plan so they not only look better, but also feel better about themselves.
Maggie Pikul, Medical Esthetician and Laser Specialist
Maggie has been an esthetician since 2000. She has worked for SpaDerma since earning her medical esthetician license in 2003. Before joining SpaDerma, Maggie worked at Salon 1800. Maggie performs a wide range of skin care treatments and treats her clients with respect, while also improving their skin. Maggie loves seeing results after each treatment!
Holly Gottschalk, Licensed Esthetician
Holly is a licensed esthetician with a degree from Pivot Point Academy in Evanston, Ill.
Holly became interested in the art and science of skin care at a young age. As a teen, she dealt with her own skin issues and started acquiring knowledge on how to care for her skin with the help of estheticians. The positive results and increased self-confidence she experienced inspired her to pursue a career in aesthetics, where she helps clients achieve similar success.
Holly combines a wide-ranging knowledge of skin care treatments and products with exceptional attention to detail and a very strong work ethic.
Julie Myers, BSN, RN, Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Julie's extensive education and advanced training and certifications in the area of neurotoxins and dermal fillers make her one of the most highly regarded injectors in her field.
For the past eight years, Julie has worked alongside the medical professionals at Spaderma, an innovative and comprehensive medical spa in Lincoln Park. There, Julie focuses on her true passion...facial rejuvenation with minimally invasive procedures.. injecting neurotoxins (Botox and Dysport) and facial fillers (Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus and Radiasse). The creativity and understanding of how a face can look youthful and NATURAL is a skill and an art. Julie's passion and understanding make her an excellent injector and a true artist.
Dr. Michael Green, M.D.
Michael Green, MD is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine as well as Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine. His current focus is his aesthetic practice. He has been practicing aesthetics since 1999 as the owner of LightCare Medical with a focus on low risk, minimally invasive injectable procedures such as Botox and Juvederm as well as laser treatments for unwanted hair, veins and capillaries. He is passionate about health and wellness especially with regards to the impact of nutrition, lifestyle and stress.
Dr. Green graduated from the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine and has been a practicing Emergency Room Physician since 1992.
