Dr. Yunez completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Hospital network in 1987. He later completed a sub-specialty in Phlebology (diagnosis and treatment of varicose and spider veins), pioneering the Closure Procedure in the midwest in 1999 and the Endovenous Laser Treatment in 2001, having treated thousands of patients since 1994. More recently he has become certified in Anti-Aging Medicine (bio-identical hormone replacement therapy).
He is certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, is an active member of the American College of Phlebology, the International Union of Phlebology, the Academy of Preventive & Innovative Medicine, and the International Peptide Society.

Anna is a nationally certified Physician Assistant and functions as our Clinical Director overseeing our talented group of injectors at SpaDerma. Anna attended Illinois Wesleyan University to obtain her bachelor’s degree and later graduated with a Masters of Science from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2011. She began her career working in emergency and hospital medicine, which gave her a great foundation in medicine and allowed her to familiarize herself with varying specialties. In 2015 Anna made the full-time transition to plastic surgery and medical aesthetics and has never looked back. Anna treats neurotoxin and filler patients at our West Loop and North Shore locations, in addition to providing medical consultations across all SpaDerma locations. She holds certifications in advanced techniques for dermal fillers, neurotoxins, and for the use of radio frequency devices. Additionally, Anna is certified in a variety of lasers, including intense pulse light (IPL), broadband light, hyperhidrosis treatment, chemical peels, Aquagold, Kybella injections and PRP restoration for hair growth and skin rejuvenation. Anna has had significant exposure to a multitude of interventions for both surgical and non surgical enhancement. Anna prides herself on providing her patient's with a comprehensive assessment accompanied by a straightforward plan to achieve their goals. Anna is passionate about continuing education, as you can often find her reading articles regarding current developments in the dynamic industry of medical aesthetics. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, catching a sporting event or dining at one of Chicago's acclaimed restaurants.

After graduating from Cardinal Stritch University in Wisconsin with her RN degree 20+ years ago, Eva was lucky enough to find her true passion early in her nursing career. For over 18 years, Eva has worked primarily in Plastic and Cosmetic surgery with some of the best plastic surgeons in the Milwaukee and greater Chicago area. During this time Eva obtained her certification as a plastic surgical nurse. Through working in the plastic surgery industry, Eva has acquired a vast knowledge of facial aesthetics including the importance of attention to detail and the artistry needed to define the face. Eva has continued her education throughout her career, specifically in advanced injectable techniques and uses this education to provide a youthful rejuvenation to the face and neck for her patients. Eva is currently a member the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic nurses. Her philosophy is to restore a natural, rejuvenated look, and to enhance ones own beauty.

A board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Gutjiera comes to SpaDerma with 7+ years of experience in family, primary, and urgent care settings. Gutjiera’s passion for aesthetics fuels a dedication to provide top-notch aesthetic services to all her patients. She prides herself on being able to see through the lens of an artistic, balanced eye which pays tribute to her strong commitment to patient satisfaction. Gutjiera loves engaging first-hand with her patients and most enjoys opportunities where she can share her passion for cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic treatments.

Amber joined the dynamic field of Aesthetics in November of 2013. Claire graduated from aesthetics school in 2006 and has been practicing as a Medical Aesthetician ever since. She joined the SpaDerma team over 10 years ago and recently moved from the Lincoln Park location to the North Shore location after becoming the Director of Aesthetics. For as long as she can remember, she has always been interested in skin care and beauty and Claire carries this passion throughout her everyday work. She specializes in treatment plans that focus on overall skin health and natural enhancements through advanced skincare treatments, all while mentoring other SpaDerma Aestheticians.

Lindsey has been an Aesthetician for 20+ years! She attended the world-renowned Pivot Point International School in Chicago in 2001 and continues to take classes to remain "in-the-know" of the always evolving aesthetics industry in addition to attending all trainings offered within SpaDerma. Born and raised on the North Shore, working at a SpaDerma location there feels like home to Lindsey. Her passion for skincare began as a little girl; always yearning to learn about the latest beauty trends. She is results driven and loves creating treatment plans grounded in her professional knowledge and focused on her patients' needs. Lindsey's favorite treatments to perform are microneedling, Hydrafacials, BBL, Moxi, Vivace and medical facials. She also ties in her passion for beauty by providing brow shaping and lash/brow tinting at the SpaDerma North Shore location.

Monique has been a licensed aesthetician since 2013. After interning at a medical spa, Monique fell in love with medical aesthetics & laser treatments and since then has been educating her patients on pharmaceutical-grade skincare. Her favorite products are any and all Hyaluronic Acid serums. Monique loves connecting with her patients and is a reiki practitioner on her days off from SpaDerma. She most enjoys helping her clients find self-love through various healing forms including sound bowl therapy, meditation methods, and reiki facials. Monique finds beauty in all that she does and thrives when given the opportunity to show each person she meets how to connect with their inner selves while receiving treatments from her.
