Peel Season is here! What does Peel Season mean? It is a fun way to say that as the season changes, it's the perfect time to shed old skin and remerge with new, glowing skin from the help of chemical peels.
SpaDerma offers over 20 different types of peels from PCAskin, SkinBetter, Glytone (select locations), and now VI Peel! These peels are completely customizable to fit your skin needs. Our Aestheticians will find the perfect one to reach your skin goals!
Some patients might be too intimidated to get a chemical peel and think peels are too risky or aggressive, like when Samantha Jones got a peel in Sex in the City. But we promise you will leave our offices glowy-er than when you came in. The results from chemical peels include improved skin tone and texture, reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, reduced breakouts, and reduced dark spots. The goal of a chemical peel is not to necessarily peel your skin, but to improve your skin with a series of treatments. We recommend 3 to 6 sessions to get desired results. While some people do end up peeling, not everyone does and that doesn’t mean the peel was any less effective, it just means your skin doesn’t need to shed, but it still benefits from the acids that remove a uniform amount of damaged skin cells across the treatment area.
