    SkinVive - New Treatment!

Check out Spaderma's newest treatment, SkinVive! SkinVive by Juvederm is a newly created, long lasting injectable treatment aimed at moisturizing and improving smoothness of the skin.

    SkinVive Overview

SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is a modified hyaluronic acid gel that’s injected as intradermal microdroplets below the surface of the skin, increasing hydration to improve cheek smoothness. SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® patients reported satisfaction with how glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy their skin looked compared to before treatment.

    What SkinVive does

SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is injected as tiny, intradermal microdroplets of hyaluronic acid within the dermis layer, so you won’t see any change in the shape or volume of your face—just healthier looking skin for a lasting glow.

    How to prepare for SkinVive

Arrive with clean skin, avoid wearing makeup to your appointment. Avoid blood thinning medications (aspirin, advil, fish oil) several days prior to your appointment to decrease your risk of bruising. Do not discontinue regular medications prior to discussing with your prescribing provider. Avoid alcohol the day before and day of treatment to prevent bruising.

    What to expect from SkinVive

You may experience redness, bumps, swelling, bruising, pain, tenderness, firmness, discoloration and itching. Most side effects will resolve within 7 days. If they persist longer, your physician may choose to treat them with medications, such as antibiotics, steroids, or hyaluronidase.

    Postcare notes

    • Avoid touching the area for several hours (3-4 hours) following treatment, be mindful of your hair or phone touching the area as this can transfer bacteria to the skin

    • Avoid dental procedures 2 weeks post treatment
    • Avoid active skin care ingredients, extensive sun or heat, strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours post treatment
    • Results are best appreciated around 1 month post injection
    • Bruising, swelling, and redness are possible side effects, although usually mild (similar downtime to Botox treatment)
