Dr. Yunez completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Hospital network in 1987. He later completed a sub-specialty in Phlebology (diagnosis and treatment of varicose and spider veins), pioneering the Closure Procedure in the midwest in 1999 and the Endovenous Laser Treatment in 2001, having treated thousands of patients since 1994. More recently he has become certified in Anti-Aging Medicine (bio-identical hormone replacement therapy).
He is certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, is an active member of the American College of Phlebology, the International Union of Phlebology, the Academy of Preventive & Innovative Medicine, and the International Peptide Society.

Anna is a nationally certified Physician Assistant and functions as our Clinical Director overseeing our talented group of injectors at SpaDerma. Anna attended Illinois Wesleyan University to obtain her bachelor’s degree and later graduated with a Masters of Science from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2011. She began her career working in emergency and hospital medicine, which gave her a great foundation in medicine and allowed her to familiarize herself with varying specialties. In 2015 Anna made the full-time transition to plastic surgery and medical aesthetics and has never looked back. Anna treats neurotoxin and filler patients at our West Loop and North Shore locations, in addition to providing medical consultations across all SpaDerma locations. She holds certifications in advanced techniques for dermal fillers, neurotoxins, and for the use of radio frequency devices. Additionally, Anna is certified in a variety of lasers, including intense pulse light (IPL), broadband light, hyperhidrosis treatment, chemical peels, Aquagold, Kybella injections and PRP restoration for hair growth and skin rejuvenation. Anna has had significant exposure to a multitude of interventions for both surgical and non surgical enhancement. Anna prides herself on providing her patient's with a comprehensive assessment accompanied by a straightforward plan to achieve their goals. Anna is passionate about continuing education, as you can often find her reading articles regarding current developments in the dynamic industry of medical aesthetics. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, catching a sporting event or dining at one of Chicago's acclaimed restaurants.

Anne is a Board Certified Physician Associate. She started her PA career practicing in a busy Emergency Department in Baltimore, MD where she found her passion for procedures, critical care and patient advocacy. After many successful years in this role, she was recognized by the American College of Emergency Physicians as PA of the year in 2018. Anne relocated to Chicago in 2019 and was inspired to pursue her passion for aesthetics, a field that allows her to merge both art and the science of medicine. She centers her care on high attention to detail, safety and individualized treatment plans to produce natural outcomes that will serve her patients for years to come. Anne is passionate about staying at the forefront of treatment as you can often find her attending advanced trainings, lectures and reading articles about the ever evolving industry of aesthetic medicine. In her free time, Anne enjoys trying new restaurants, pilates, skiing, traveling home to Virginia, and spending time with her family and dog Lewis.

Ilse is a passionate Aesthetic Nurse Injector with 5 years of injecting experience. In 2018, Ilse obtained her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Lewis University and is a board certified provider accredited by the ANCC. While her clinical background lies in medicine, Primary and Urgent Care, Ilse’s true passion for helping others feel more confident ultimately influenced her decision to become an injector and pursue medical aesthetics. Ilse specializes in treatment plans that enhance one’s natural beauty and create a more youthful appearance. Her favorite treatments to perform are lip augmentations as she loves seeing the look on her patient's face when she hands them the mirror. With a calm, caring and informative approach, Ilse’s main goal is to make her patients feel comfortable, beautiful and satisfied. When Ilse is not at SpaDerma she’s spending time with her family, enjoying her 3 little girls.

Ronie grew up in the north suburbs of Chicago and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Purdue University. She then earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Rosalind Franklin University. She immediately followed her passion for aesthetics after graduating and continues to receive the most advanced training in the industry. Ronie takes pride in her ability to tailer the aesthetic experience for each patient to optimize their results. In her free time, she loves going to Chicago Blackhawks games and other sporting events. She is also ver family oriented and enjoys boating on Lake Michigan with her father.

Audrey is a Chicago native who found her passion in skincare while working as a beauty advisor in 2017. She was able to continue her passion in the aesthetics industry during the midst of the pandemic and attended Estelle Skin Care & Spa Institute. Always having a niche for helping others and struggling with Eczema, she became very interested in skin conditions and was eager to dive into the field of Medical Aesthetics! The most important thing when it comes to helping others love their skin is to offer a safe space and help every patient feel confident.

Being a skincare ingredient specialist, Dan loves building customized skincare routines using clinically proven skin and body treatments to meet his patient’s needs. Some of his favorite treatments include microneedling, chemical peels, and HydraFacials, due to the immediate results his clients experience as they walk out the door. Dan’s genuine passion for skincare fuels his craft as he helps his patient’s look and feel their best!

Konnie’s passion for skincare began after stumbling upon a receptionist position at a day spa. After being immersed into the skincare industry, Konnie decided to pursue her aesthetician’s license and has been performing medical aesthetic treatments ever since. With so much misinformation floating around, Konnie's focus lies in educating her patients on the true science behind medical-grace treatments and debunking common skincare fallacies. As a result-driven skincare specialist, Konnie’s favorite treatments include Microneedling and Clear & Brilliant. Whether it's a first time chemical peel or a sixth session of advanced laser treatment, Konnie is always excited to safely guide her patients through their individual skincare journeys.

Lynzee began her career in the cosmetic industry as a makeup artist in 2014. After leaving retail, she freelanced for multiple makeup and skincare brands. Like many of her peers, she realized the power of connecting with her clients and instilling a sense of confidence in their own skin. While freelancing, she attended the New Age Spa Institute and received her license in early 2020. When faced with the challenges posed by the pandemic, she adapted her focus to specialize in natural eyebrow artistry and also began working in cosmetic dermatology. Over the past few years, she has gained an immense amount of knowledge in various cosmetic treatments and laser technology from board-certified dermatologists. Her unwavering goal is to provide her patients with an exceptional, safe, and enjoyable experience while guiding them on their transformative skincare journey. As an Aesthetician, Lynzee thrives on witnessing the profound impact she makes on her patients' lives, leaving them brimming with newfound confidence.

Samantha Gelman entered the aesthetic world in 2015. Entering the aesthetic world was somewhat by chance. Samantha previously had gone to Columbia college and studied photography and cultural studies. A conversation with a stranger about the aesthetic industry and all the routes you could take sparked Samantha’s interest in touring an aesthetic school and she signed up a week later. Immediately after finishing school she worked under the direction of board certified dermatologists and gained much knowledge about products and ingredients as well as treatments to help improve a variety of skin concerns. Samantha joined SpaDerma Lakeview in July of 2020. Samantha’s goal is to provide safe and thorough treatments as well as help guide patients in the right direction to achieve healthier skin. When Samantha isn’t at work she’s probably spending time with her dog Basil going for long walks, watching movies and strength training.

Sarah specializes in a wide range of anti-aging skin rejuvenation treatments and aims to bring a multifaceted approach to all of her patients. She understands each individual is different and building a trusting patient/provider relationship is so important, especially on a skincare journey. She comes from a background of dermatology and cosmetic lasers where she focused on skin tightening, acne scarring, and overall skin health as well as educating patients on how to take care of their skin at home.

Sophia gained additional skills and knowledge while medical assisting in two established dermatology offices and felt a draw towards helping others. Her passion for skincare stemmed after experiencing from her own skin issues with hormonal acne after pregnancy. She has seen first hand how a consistent regimen paired with professional advanced skin treatments can improve and maintain the skin. Sophia’s goal is to help her patients reach their ideal aesthetic results. She strives to be the professional clients can come running to, whether it be when in need for a treatment, or just have fun talking all things skin!
