This summer SpaDerma proudly welcomes the addition of SpaDerma Wicker Park, a 5,000 sq ft facility that will boast an impressive 17 treatment rooms spanning over two levels in the presence of some of Chicago’s best dining and retail. This space will also be the home to The Collective, an education and training destination that will bridge the gap between the traditional esthetics school curriculum and the exploding industry of advanced medical esthetics. Courses both available online and in person will be provided by a collective of industry professionals stemming from SpaDerma, device and products experts, and trainers nationally recognized.

The Assistant Spa Manager position requires an individual with a passion for the beauty industry and a knowledge of our services. This position will be responsible for the successful operation of the designated spa location while meeting sales goals assigned. This is a full-time position that will require nights and weekends. The Assistant Spa Manager will be focused on improving customer service, leading a team of support staff and providers, increasing sales, and optimizing profitability. This position requires a self-motivated individual who takes initiative and has a strong desire to succeed and advance in their career.
Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Assisting Spa Manager
+ Managing all business software platforms
+ Assists with Spa maintenance
+ Handles and manages patient complaints
+ Practice exceptional customer service and ensures that all staff are doing the same
+ Assisting with Social media and Influencer management
+ Product inventory management and ordering
+ Spa promotions and patient incentives
+ Training and coaching of new support staff team members
+ Event and project management
+ Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
+ Exceptional customer service skills
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills
+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and patients
+ Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
+ Strong organizational skills
Education and Experience:
+ Aesthetics license is a plus but not required.
+ At least two years of experience in Medical Aesthetics, Dermatology, Plastics, Spa, Device or Product Sales, or Wellness Industries, or a comparable field.
Physical Requirements:
+ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
+ Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
